Holy Week is a special part of the holy season of Lent. It is a time to observe what God has done for us and allow that reality sink into our hearts.
Come celebrate what God has done, and is doing, for us. The growth and appreciate is best experienced if you can make as many services as possible. However, each service stands on its own.
Palm Sunday - April 5
In Hanover High School: We gather in the atrium area and bless palm branches, which worshipers then carry into the church, reenacting Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem.
Tenebrae - Wednesday, April 8
At 7:00pm at Burkwood Swim Club Clubhouse: Tenebrae provides an extended meditation upon and a prelude to the events of our Lord's life between the Last Supper and the Resurrection.
Easter Vigil - April 11
At 7:30pm in Hanover High School: Jesus arose from the grave during the night between Saturday and Sunday.. The readings and prayers celebrate the history of salvation.
Easter Sunday!!! - April 12
At 9:30am at Hanover High School: We shall gather to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection. After the service, the youngsters will enjoy an Egg Hunt and we will enjoy breakfast snacks.
